This 2019 award winning white peony tea from Fujian is vegetal and crisp with sweet undertones.

How to prepare it

Use around 3g of tea leaves for 200 ml, with more or less depending on how strong you like your tea. Steep with boiling water for at least 1 minutes.

After 4 steeps, you can boil the tea for 2 minutes to enjoy a completely different taste with full nutritional value.

Appearance: One fuzzy white bud with one or two leaves attached steep into a pale yellow liquor.

Taste: Vegetal and fresh with sweet aftertaste.

Health Benefits

One of the least processed teas, white teas have the least amount of caffeine out of all teas. It also contains the most amount of polyphenols and antioxidants, which help to boost metabolism, reduce chances of skin and cardiovascular cancer, and relieve stress.

It is common traditional Chinese medicinal wisdom that white tea helps to boost the immune system, as well as overall health. In addition to steeping white tea, you can also boil it to draw out all the nutrients, especially during transitions between seasons when the immune system is vulnerable.
